This agreement covers the refundable deposit for a HALE 1.0 developer unit from OS3. The deposit holds a place in line; it is not a purchase.

The deposit

The deposit is $99 per developer unit and is collected through Stripe. It reserves a position in the rollout queue and does not transfer ownership of hardware.

Refunds and cancellation

The deposit is fully refundable any time before shipment. Either side may cancel before an order is confirmed. To cancel, email hi@os3robotics.com from your checkout email. Refunds go to the original payment method without interest. If OS3 cancels, you receive a full refund. That refund is the sole remedy relating to this agreement or reservation.

Product and purchase

HALE 1.0 is in active development. Final specifications, features, appearance and timing may change. When a unit nears availability, OS3 will confirm its configuration, the $14,995 price, delivery details and remaining balance. Nothing beyond the deposit is due until you confirm an order.

Timing and availability

Shipment windows are estimates, not guarantees, and the deposit remains refundable before shipment. A reservation is not a commitment by OS3 to deliver hardware. OS3 may accept, decline, delay or cancel a reservation at its discretion, with a full deposit refund.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OS3 IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY RESERVATION, AND OS3'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT PAID.
