This agreement covers the refundable preorder deposit for a HALE 1.0 developer unit from OS3, whether purchased or leased. The deposit holds a place in line; it is not a purchase or lease.
The deposit
The refundable preorder deposit is $99 per developer unit and is collected through Stripe. It reserves a position in the rollout queue and does not transfer ownership of hardware or begin a lease.
Refunds and cancellation
The deposit is fully refundable any time before shipment. Either side may cancel before an order is confirmed. To cancel, email hi@os3robotics.com from your checkout email. Refunds go to the original payment method without interest. If OS3 cancels, you receive a full refund. That refund is the sole remedy relating to this agreement or reservation.
Product, purchase and lease
HALE 1.0 is in active development. Final specifications, features, appearance and timing may change. When a unit nears availability, OS3 will confirm its configuration, delivery details and either the $14,995 purchase price and remaining balance or the full $1,800/month lease price and applicable lease terms. Additional terms may apply. Nothing beyond the deposit is due until you confirm an order or lease.
Timing and availability
Shipment windows are estimates, not guarantees, and the deposit remains refundable before shipment. A reservation is not a commitment by OS3 to deliver hardware. OS3 may accept, decline, delay or cancel a reservation at its discretion, with a full deposit refund.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OS3 IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY RESERVATION, AND OS3'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT PAID.
